Are you tired of just doing steps? Does memorising sequences feel boring and irrelevant? Do you want your tango to come alive with life, color, and joy, for yourself and for your partner?
If so, then please join me for this all-skill-levels-welcome musicality playshop. We will listen deeply to some classic tangos, learning to understand and play meaningfully with their structure. We will explore movement and stillness, balance, dynamic body tone, breath, and levels, as musical communication tools. We'll play with the musical choices we make, experiment with sharing our musicality with one another, and most of all, have fun.
Let's embrace the music...together!
Wear comfortable play-clothes and socks (or bare feet). Leave your fancy tango clothes and shoes at home.
